It
appears the site still needs some work, as some experts say some of the data is
old however it does connect you to the college’s price calculator.
A
spokesperson from the Department of Education said the scorecard will “help families
easily compare schools on value and affordability.”
Future
plans for the scorecard are to compare how recent college graduates from every school
stand up in the job market and what their hiring salaries are. This will allow you to see which institutions
are producing graduates who are getting jobs in today’s economy.
This
seems to be a good tool for high school students and their families, even
though it may lack some information. Everyone loves a one-stop-shop tool. View the College Scorecard website and post your
reviews here.
